The 2nd edition of the Poreč Open Air Festival of Life has attracted more than 60,000 visitors to its many events in 59 days, from the 23rd of June to the 23rd of September. Within the 20 various entertainment programs featuring 130 performers at 16 Poreč locations, both the local population as well as the numerous visitors to this favorite holiday destination equally relished in the avaialble programs. A total of 119 events were held, where the musical programs were in particularly very popular. Poreč has become one grand open-air stage in these summer months. All content was free for visitors.
After the first edition of the festival, the Istrian County Tourist Board recognized the prestigious Golden Capra (Capra d`Oro) prize for the Open Air festival in 2016. This year, during the Days of Croatian Tourism in Mali Losinj, the festival was one of the finalists for the Annual Croatian Tourism Award in the subcategory "Tourist Event of the Year" within the category of "Attraction of the Year". Days of Croatian tourism represents the largest gathering of groups of tourists in Croatia, gathering between 1500 and 2000 participants.
